Fringe malfunction!!!

ARRRFFFFF! Ok so what happenned is I had the perfect hairstyle, great long sun kissed locks and I don't know why on earth I died my hair dark brown, not to say black, and cut it shorter with the icing on the cake: a fringe :-( that does not suit me AT ALL. I am trying to hide it with braids and all but it just won't grow. So today I went to buy supplements and omega 3 pills hoping that these will get me back to the lovely hairstyle that I use to have. So girls, if you are bored by your hairstyle, think twice, not like me, and give some time to yourself to think about it. I will let you know about the efficiency of the supplements. Take care of yourself and of your HAIRRRRR!!

Withney Port in Dubai!! Are you serious ?

WoW big news! Symphony, this new very chic store that openned in Dubai Mall will be hosting a fashion event, as their official inuaguration, and for the occasion receiving some of the designers sold in the boutique. This will take place on October 7th between 1 and 3 pm at Symphomy boutique Dubai mall and Withney Port will be there among others. I can't believe this since I followed her on TV and never imagined that I would meet her in real life. But I guess Dubai is a city of opportunities and becoming more and more entertaining on the international fashion scene. See u at Symphony on thursday!!

Fake Bob

I wake up last saturday with a huge envy of changing my head, you know one of those days when you cannot stand your face!! Anyways, so instead of going for a radical hearcut, i played with my hair and came up with this fake bob. As my hair is layered, I attached the lower layers in a pony tail and hid it underneath with bobby pins. ET VOILA!! This was a great alternative that gave me a complete new look that satisfied my extreme makeover craving.

Life changing read...

I love the fact that sometimes in life, hazard make things great!!! The other day while I was at the mall,waiting for my friend to have lunch, my eyes were attracted to this red book as I was passing by the book store. I read the title and immediatly knew that I would love it. I usually take a month to read a book, as I read several books in the same time, but it took me only a few days to read girls of riyadh. The narrator is a saudi girl in her twenties that describe the life of her four friends that are looking for love in a country were its expression is taboo. I was completly transported by the story of those girls and realised that in some ways, I could relate to them eventhough I do not live in saudi arabia. The other thing that I like is that this book makes you realize that under the Abaya, these girls are fashionistas and it made me think of one of the scene in sex and the city 2; where the girls in Abu Dhabi show their outfits to samantha, carrie , charlotte and miranda. I loved this book so much that I advise everybody to read it as to me, the message is fight for your right to LOVE.

Well, well, well, long time since last post. Arff I hate that but I had a lot to lately and went back home to see my family so did not get the time to post some pics. Anyways, I am back and for good !!!! I take additional night classes in fashion design so my days are full, but the good thing is I am coming out with a collection soon!!! So girls stay updated.

Hi girls , long time no talk!!
Well, I have been enjoying life ( mainly eating like a psycho) and not working out so no I feel so big now. I have been dieting for years but everytime i reach my happy weight I celebrate with food, which is dumb :-) Anyways, I need to get back on track with at least 45 min of cardio or power walk five times a week and as far as nutrition is concerned, doing the Dukan Diet. If you don't know about the Dukan Diet, it is a protein diet elaborated by a French doctor. It has been the most efficient diet I have done so far, so everytime I feel that I need to lose a few kilos I go back to it and it works fast which keeps me motivated. I know this diet by heart so if you have any questions I would be happy to help you. xoxo

Hi girls, to my great desperation, SATC 2 is not going to be released in the country I am right now. Hi dolls, I have been wanting to get whiter teeths for a long time but i am still scared about the dental procedure that you do at the dentist cause some friends that had it done told me it was really hurtfull. Then, i remembered those strips that were sold at the supermarket. I have been chasing them everywhere for a year now, i went to all the supermarkets around my house in France, looked for them in CVS and Walgreens when I was in the US, looked for them in Dubai and still could not find them. But guess what? I found them in Beyrouth two weeks ago Hurrayyyyyyyyyy! So I have been doing the routine of putting the stripes 30 mins twice a day, for like 4 days now and I ll be posting the before/after pictures when the program is done. Stay tuned!!

Turning Twenty something...

Hi ladies, so Yesterday was my Birthday. I had an amazing day ( and night!!!)with my girls, received a lot of phone calls from friends and family from Paris and Algeria, and felt so cherished and gifted. I though turning 27 would be tougher ( hello 30!!!) but actually, it felt really good. I am doing my best to be the person I always wanted to be and taking life easier. So I guess I am an adult now... Anyways, just wanted to share that and my birthday feeling with you guys. Take care...

I left a piece of my heart in Beyrouth...

Hi guys, so as you can conclude , I spent last weekend in Beyrouth. I wanted to visit this country since I was a kid as I grew us with my dad listenning constantly to Fayrouz and dreaming about going to Lebanon. I have to say that i had a very special feeling as soon as I arrived there. When I got out of the airport, I felt a fresh breeze on my cheeks and took a deep breath as It was so pleasant to get some fresh air. It felt really special when I was entering the city because some places reminded me of Algeria, some others of the south of France, so I felt like I was in Europe but in the middle east as well, as the EDEN (prayer call) was being said. Beyrouth is so chic, the food is amazing and lebanese people were so warm and helpful that I loved my two days there. I ate the best hummus ever (so cliché I know) in Layla restaurant, so my advice is that you try that if you have the opportunity to go to this charming country. Beyrouth je t'aime...

PS: Of course I did some shopping, as you can see a "MASHALLAH" clutch and the matching necklace.

A piece of Paris

Les macarons LADUREE, probably the best macarons in the world with the Pierre Hermé ones. I brought some form Paris two weeks ago, and I usually eat all the box within two days but I had to save some for friends, so as you can see I left them 4 pieces, How generous is that!!!! Anyways if you have a chance to go to Paris, pass by the Champs Elysées and have a macaron, Rose flower flavour may I suggest.

Union Mall, Bangkok

Last christmas break, I went to thailand and mainly stayed in Bangkok and Hua Hin. For a girl that lived 26 years of her live in the so called city of Fashion, AKA Paris, I have to say that I was pretty amazed by the sense of style of Thai girls. Just looking at them in the street was like a fashion show. They all had long and thick bohemian hair,sublime harem pants, silky and edgy tops, gorgeous bags but I finally discovered their secret... UNION MALL!!!! So, Union mall is a shopping center near ChattutChak (excuse the spelling) that is basically an ALI BABA cavern. You will find anything there like shoes, bags, makeup, pants, dresses all very edgy and stylish and OMG so cheap. A fabulous dress would cost you 5 euros (25 dhs) and you can bargain!!! But the thing that drove me crazy there, was the hair extensions. I had them done for 38 euros and the quality of hair was gorgeous. It was really well done ( thankyou ladyboy :-)) and made me feel like a godess for 4 months. So my advice is, if any of you have the chance to go to Bangkok, pass by Union mall and splurge on everything, I swear you won't regret it. By the way, you can also get a haircut or a blow dry for 2 euros!!

I think Miroslava Duma is so stylish, I LOVE her style, I saw her in rue St honoré in Paris during Fashion week, and she was like a mirage. I think style can definitely give you charism and a certain aura. Our beloved Sarah Jessica Parker has been lucky enough to meet Patricia Field, SATC stylist, that brought her to the level of fashion Icon.
